bottled water - "tapped" documentary
« on: July 02, 2012, 06:27:42 am »
I recently saw the documentary "tapped". I have NEVER  bought tap water, I mean bottled water, from the store. It makes no sense to pay for what we are already paying for so 3 big companies, Nestle, Pepsi, and Coca Cola, can take water from our reservoirs and make money (greed). There are places in the US that experience drought conditions because these 3 big company factories are taking the water. ....mass production..... there is pollution in our water bodies because of the plastic waste that people don't recycle. It isn't a very good idea, is it?
The more people stop buying bottled water, the less demand for it......I filter my water with Seychelle water filter; fluoride is another toxin that needs to be eliminated. .....yet another falsehood people have been led to believe for 60 + years. I use stainless steel bottles.

I just wish I had known years ago that people would actually pay for water in a plastic bottle. Bottled air, anyone?

I believe this is another sign of greed by big companies that rip people off. I recently read an article stating that Coca Cola and Pepsi has a small percentage of alcohol in their beverages. What won't these companies do to get money?

I only buy bottled water to have on hand when we travel, we filter our water at home and I don't want to purchase water more than than what we pay for the water bill...

I have wondered how people lived for thousands of years without bottled water and did not die. If you research most bottled waters they are not any better than water from the tap. I wish I had thought of it years ago too. It is like free money.

i defianetly don't like the idea of flurioide potentially be put in my water

It's been put in many water systems for years now as well as giving people treatments at the dentist offices.
