Best online game site (without downloads)

I would like to find an online game site that you do not have to download games to play.  I don't mind joining if it doesn't cost anything.  Any suggestions?

Kongregate.com is the one I use most often.  It has some great flash games, and some multiplayer games (though, most have perks for those who pay).  If you're looking for a MUD (most people aren't) 3k is awesome (3k.org).

Whenever I used to play online games, Kongregate was the place I would go. They had a good variety of games and I liked their layout, but I haven't used the site in a while so it might have changed.

I'm sure you know this site but i highly suggest miniclip! It's one of my favorite gaming sites and has one of the highest internet traffic so playing multiplayer games are so much better.

vizzed.com has a "Retro Game Room" with old game console emulations. For when you don't want to pull out the old Nintendo or whatever to play your classic remembered games

For flash games, Kongregate or Armor games seem to have been the ones I've had the most fun with. If you remember (and are old enough) those old text-adventure games, there is an on-line version of Zork http://thcnet.net/error/index.php

And I know you mentioned that you didn't want to download anything, but both Home of the Underdogs http://www.hotud.org/ and Good Old Games http://www.gog.com/ hosts some of the older games that are freeware or abandonware (software that is so old that the producers don't care about getting money from the game anymore, so people can play for free). Usually those vintage games are such small downloads that you can download and start playing within a few minutes.

There are also a bunch of free MMORPGs that don't require any downloads. The one that comes to mind is RuneScape. I really like how they set this up, where it is free to join and play, but you can also pay money to open up different areas to explore etc.

Finally there are a bunch of games on Facebook that are all free to play and don't require downloads. Farmville is probably the most famous of these. However if you do get involved with these games, I'd suggest creating a FB account specifically for this purpose, since your wall will get spammed from game ads as well as requests from your gaming buddies. Also, most of these games require (or at least make game-play easier by) you to request others to be be your partner in the game (which requires you to be friends with them in FB). Since a lot of these people you don't really know other than that they play games, you might not want them nosing about your regular FB page.

I've been looking for a good site to play solitaire games without downloading. I did a search, but the ones I found either don't have Freecell, or they don't have a user-friendly interface. We used to have solitaire games installed on the computer at work, so I could play during breaks, but now they gave us a new computer and it doesn't have any games on it.

I used to play on OMGPOP all the time. It's free and has some pretty fun/addicting games.
