kids and school

here in fl they are trying to make it where the kids go monday threw thursday i say not because alot of parents work monday threw friday and it cost to much to have someone watch the kids while they are out of school i say the kids have enough time out of school i know when i was growing up we had major holidays and if it snowed really bad but we also had to make up the snow days at the end of the year now they have stupid things like fair day every friday they get out half a day they are not learning nothing by being out for every little thing what do you think

Yes, it definitely seems like to much of a hassle. I see a school district around here is trying to get school started at 9:30, so the kids get more sleep, but once again that poses the problem of the parents having to be to work much earlier. My kids have a ton of days off already and all these half days? I have no idea why there are so many days off. I'm all for going to school year round, then I won't have to deal with them all day, all summer....lol... . That would probably burn them out though.

I say let kids go to school Monday-Thursday, but also change the regular work week from Monday-Thursday Then all will be well.
