I know this question has probably been asked, but does direct deposit get approved quicker than check or paypal? Just curious. Thanks!

Actually, I think that it does. I am with PayPal and I thought that money was sent to PayPal before Direct Deposit. I said so in a post but I was corrected by another member. PayPal is faster by several days than getting a check.

You can do a search and find the answer or maybe someone else will jump in with the answer.  It also might be under FAQ's.

I do direct deposit and some months I see people post that they got their payment at most a day before it hits my account, it's never made that big of a difference for me though since I use this as my play money

I'm sure either direct deposit or paypal is quicker than a check, but I've seen some people say, it depends on where you're located on how fast your check comes. I guess it would be nice to know if direct deposit or paypal is faster. I know I get my payment via paypal and it usually comes a day early, and then I transfer it to my account, which takes 2 days. I'm thinking about just switching over to direct deposit if it's just as fast, so then it will just go right to my account instead of waiting a couple days for it to transfer from Paypal. But it doesn't really matter that much.

Having started out using the PayPal option, (also transferring funds to a bank account as you do), and then switching over to DD one comparison is possible.  The direct deposit credited to my bank account faster than awaiting a PayPal transfer did, (the transfer delay being omitted from the process).

I know this sounds weird, but it's like I already knew you were going to be the one to help answer that question for me. So yeah you really are very helpful around here.

You're welcome, "xyleaht".  There still may be some "deposit pending" delay imposed by a bank however, I've now had DD for FC over the last several months and it does seem a few days quicker than PP, (notwithstanding having a PayPal debitcard and instant access from there).

I didn't know you were 'psychic', "xyleaht".  :o
It seems that depends upon the perspective of different members here; I'm either a 'helpful contributor' or, an 'insufferable know-it-all'.  Since there is more extant evidence of the former than in support of the subjective opinion of the latter, the decision to offer assistance when I can beats empty opinion every time. *chuckle*

Well everybody is entitled to their own opinion... but I don't consider you as an ''insufferable know-it-all." You're one who seems to think outside the box or beyond what others consider "normal." But some of the most successful people are the ones who think outside the box instead of doing things or thinking the way everybody else thinks. So there is nothing wrong with that.

I appreciate that and thanks again.  In regards to offering assistance to other FC members, it took some time, (and reading of the FC Terms of Service, FAQs and the helpful posts of others here), before such assistance was offered.  Everyone here was new once, after all.

You're one who seems to think outside the box or beyond what others consider "normal." But some of the most successful people are the ones who think outside the box instead of doing things or thinking the way everybody else thinks. So there is nothing wrong with that.

To paraphrase a kid in The Matrix, 'there is no box', (he'd said "spoon").  I even avoid "mime-boxes", (ever see a mime do that with an invisible box?  It always reminds me of other 'invisible boxes').

I like the idea of receiving a check. You can scan it and post it online to show FusionCash is not a scam.  Then again some banks give you perks for using direct deposit over a check.

Exactly, some of my accounts offer a "no minimum balance" perk with direct deposit.  Additionally, FC staff has recently floated a suggestion whereby members who cash out using direct deposit would receive a bonus perk for doing so.

Reward for using Direct Deposit?

Hi all,

I'd like to gauge interest in a hypothetical reward we might try.  Basically, we'd pay you a bonus upon cashout approval if you choose to receive your cash via Direct Deposit.  The reason is, Direct Deposits are much cheaper than checks/PayPal.

If you're currently using PayPal or Check, would you switch to Direct Deposit for a $0.10 bonus on each approved Direct Deposit cashout?

What about for $0.25?

Thanks for your help, guys!
