Topic: I always thought the Stock Market in New York open at 8am (Read 778 times)

I was shocked

to find out that the stock market in New York City opens at 9:30am. Just when I decide to become a Full-Time Day Trader and saved enough money to buy some stock, I am still too early to even buy.

Well I found a nice website that will tell me when and where the stocks are open http://www.isthemarketopen.com/

Yeah I thought it was 9am or so... Kinda like bankers hours...except I think they close at 4pm...
