Watermelon rocks... the only thing better is enjoying a drinking the juice out of a freshly-cut coconut and then scooping the tasty edges out while sitting with your feet buried in the sand on a beautiful beach... (for me, that beach would be Pattaya Beach in Thailand with my beautiful lady at my side!)... yum!

Watermelon reminds me of my youth. We lived in a town that was near to watermelon fields. So they were pretty cheap. It was an inexpensive treat for us kids.

Oh yes. Watermelon is my favorite fruit of the summer season.  Just picked one up from store yesterday.  I love the seedless ones.  Getting it really cold, gonna have me a bowl for lunch today.

Watermelon is so refreshing and great by itself, but I found a new way to take it to another level  by squeezing fresh lime juice and sprinkling just a touch of sea salt over it.  Sometimes I blend it up into an ice cold smoothie.

Also I love eating lightly salted and roasted watermelon seeds.
