Do you tip taxi drivers?

I am going to be taking taxi cabs for the next couple of days, do you tip taxi drivers?
If you do, how much do give? a percentage or just a couple of bucks?

I only ever ridden in a cab a couple times, but I did give a tip each time.

take taxi are pretty expensive...I usually give about about 15% of the tip depend how good the service is. good luck

It depends on the service I get.  The better the service the better the tip.

I have actually never taken a taxi but i would give them a couple bucks depending on how far they are driving you.

It's generally appropriate to tip the taxi driver about 15%, unless he runs you around in circles, or drives you around a clearly indirect route.  Tips for drivers in Europe and elsewhere around the planet can be less than 15%.
