I noticed that there are some people who have "opted-in ________" membership. Did I miss something? How did they get that status? For instance, one person is an Opted-In Platinum Member

It's probable you're referring to opting-in to the Post Mania contest found in this thread (Contests & Promotions forum):

Once you are credited - you are entered into the contest. On the day of the contest it will be under the Opt In Contests (found above in the Contest forum) or by clicking HERE

Think this means the 00voo and Kellogs offers do not credit after successful completion. Had same problem therefore cannot "opt in"

Kohler has a thread that will allow several people to join the contest simply by posting in it.There may be a few spots open still,if you can find the thread.
