I got my name from my mothers great aunt.  She was very attached to her, so when she passed and I was born, she named me after her.  I never had a chance to meet her, but am told she was a very good person.  So
I am proud to be named after her.

My mom and dad liked the name.  There is no one in the family lineage with the name Janet except me.

My name is from a song in the 70's. My mother liked the name and my father liked it best of the list she gave him.

I was named after my grandmother, her maiden name is my first name.  I named my daughter after a child star who I liked on a TV show and researched names and meanings from a baby book to name my son.

The story behind my name is that my dad was watching t.v. one night and thee was a woman doing a job like vana white from wheal of fortune. My name is Anitra. Now that I have it. I know for sure there is at least two of us with the same name and we are both blind. How ironic is that.

I was an awsome baby with an awsome childhood so my parents gave me the name Hugh Hefner  the 3rd because am awsome

My name, had absolutely zero thought or effort put into it. My mother didn't give a crap at all to take the time to put some real thought into it. She put some thought and effort into my siblings' names, but just couldn't be bothered to do the same for mine.
