my mom says she has always liked the name jessie but my dad wanted jessica because jessie was close to a boys name so i got the name jessica. and as for my middle name.. my cousin had it first and my mom liked it and it blended well with my first and last name. i do like my name but it's so poplar but i like it nonetheless.

forgot to add.... my fiances name is jessie. and he's a guy. we asked his mom why she spelled his name like a girl. she said it was spelled that way in the baby book.

Since my mother is Mexican and my father is Irish but speaks fluent spanish, they named me Linda Cruz Bryan. Linda means beautiful in spanish, and Cruz is my mothers first name.

My dad found the name Xyliah ( not sure if that's how it is spelt) but he didn't really like that name only the Xy part. Then he took Leah from the Bible and put them together. XYLEAH. So it really is easier to pronounce then it looks. It's like Xy from xylophone and Leah put together.

Mary Rebecca - Mary was my father's mother, Rebecca was my mom's mother.  No exciting or romantic story behind the name, just a combination of grandmothers.
