Planting in Flower Pots
« on: May 25, 2012, 12:54:00 am »
I just heard the most incredibly simple idea!!!!  :)

Yes... and I can NOT believe that I NEVER thought of this!!!

hahah....  :notworthy:

You know when you plant into Flower Pots.

You have your pots, soil, plants or seeds, maybe gravel for the bottom.

Well......

I just read somewhere....

:star: :star: IF YOU PUT A COFFEE FILTER AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR PLANTER...  :star: :star:

:star: :star: IT HELPS TO PREVENT SOIL FROM COMING OUT THE DRAINAGE HOLES!!!!  :star: :star:

Thinking.. if more than one hole at the bottom.. you would layer the filters making sure they are over each hole.

((Now some of us know you can put gravel at the bottom of the pot... but soil can still come through... ))

I just am amazed at some of the things people came up with...

Going to try this out this weekend.  See if it really works.

Just thought I would share another tip I heard!

Okay Falcon.. before you say something on this one.......

I just checked and this one is wrong too.

I do not know what happened.

I have posted many things on here.. and always check.  No clue what happened with these two.

Someone once told me, "glitch happens" and it does.  Did you start from the "Discussion Boards" or "Forum" page before selecting a forum?
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

We just bought a couple of flower pots because the plants grew too large for the ones we had. It was fun removing the nplans and transferring them to the new pots.

I just bought new flower pots tonight at Target.

They were only 2.00 each!!

Can't beat that.  :D

I am going to replace the broken pots and also split up the bigger plants and make 2 or 3 plants out of those  :bunny:

And yes I am sorry about where this posted.. but thanks for all your positive feedback.  I did try to fix it.. but it didn't work.

Imwicked I love to read everyones tips too..

It is wonderful to learn new things from folks that have figured something easier out or helpfull!!
