It's natural for us to assume that whoever designed the surveys that malfunction AFTER you've finished them did it on purpose--planned obsolescence on someone's part. Sound jaded? Yep.

No one likes to feel gyped. After a while you start to wonder if they are doing it on purpose?

I've done many surveys, but have not completed any. It always tells me I'm not qualified after taking a bunch of info from me. So I don't really bother with those any more.

I dont mind not qualifying--part of the game......but when I clearly finish up the survey, taking 20-30 mins to do so.....then get kicked out.......thats enough to drive ya crazy!!!

I rarely do surveys on FC for this very reason. Actually now that for the FC surveys you get at least a penny I'm more willing to give them a shot. I also hate survey companies that advertise that there is a survey on say beer, for example, then proceed to ask you several different demographic questions (sometimes asking the same question multiple times in different ways), and finally you start to get to the more "meatier" part of the survey and you find out it's now become a survey on shampoo! I think if they have a particular survey (like for beer) and the person doesn't qualify for that, then tell them immediately and ask whether you want them to keep searching for other surveys that you may qualify for. Also (esp. when during a single session), I wish they would save your answers to some of those demographic questions and either fill the answers in for you, or check whether you'd qualify for a different survey based on answers you previously gave. If I answer that I live in MN, then that info won't change in that session, so I shouldn't have to say I live in MN anymore.

I've actually found survey sites that tend to do a better job of qualifying you if you sign up for the site and get e-mail notifications on the surveys. At least with those companies, they ask you a lot of demographic questions when you sign up, so that they can do a better job of pre-screening their members and only send out e-mails to the members that seem to have a high probability of qualifying for the entire survey.

I agree, I am a newbie also, they ask too many questions, then disqualify you, it seems if you don't have children in the home or dont owe anything,, you are not eligible for much!!! wasting my time, this takes a lot of time and patience, i think i have made about 13.00 for 2 days work and way more time than i want to spend  for pennies..

Its easy to get discouraged really really quick when you get turned down for each and every survey you try to take.

Lots of people complain about surveys but few do what I did. I just stopped doing them. They are definitely just a waste of time.

I don't do them either.  For the time/effort I put in, I could do just as many daily/human intelligence tasks and make the same amount and not get it revoked.

Computer glitches...Nothing new! Use a different computer. Maybe a public Library computer. Probably, you will have better luck using different computers.

I haven't been doing surveys for long but that has happened to me all to many times.  I've even been told that my survey has timed out - - - Not everybody has a 4G network so naturally connections are bound to be slower for some.  Oh and what about the message that says you have already done this survey on this pc.  What?  Huh?  I'm the only one on it and it wasn't me so what the??? Frustrating to no end.  That's a great idea to have a warning on those that scam there results out of us.

I also hate it when I spent several minutes giving them the info they need and then give me no credit for my time.
