Baby shower

Does anyone have any suggestions on what games to play at a Baby Shower?  or what kind of favors to give out?........this is my first time hosting one, ideas would be much appreciated!!

sorry I have not been to a babay shower in years, it does sound like it will be fun.

Do a very good search online they are great ideas out there.  I have played the 1.  toilet paper game (you can use anything realy a roll of ribons from the dollar store is good enough) the person has to gues the size of the stomach without touching it. 2.  Also there is food game, yyou buy baby food take the labels out write # on each jar so you know what is what and have the people gues which one is which. 3.  write things that babies do like crawl, drink bottles, use pacifiers, eat baby food, cry, suck their thumbs, etc) in little pieces of paper, put them inside small ballons and fill the ballons, have the people sit on the ballons to brake them and then they have to do what the paper says.

Be sure you have baby bottels, pacifiers rattles etc. for the games  As for favors could be anything from candles to lotions or whatever, just have fun with it.

take yarn and have people cut off as much (length) that they think would go around the Mommy's Belly (or Mommy and Daddy if coed party) and see who gets closest to reaching around the belly. 

I'm sure if you google games for baby shower you'd find other fun things.

we also took Mom's first name and Daddy's first name and see how many other names you could create using the letters of those two names - whoever had the longest list would get a little token/prize

We did a "Who Knows Mommy Best" game and needless to say it made me feel crappy! People didn't know a thing about me and these were simple questions like Who picked the baby's name? How many tattoos does Mommy have? things that best friends should know so I highly recommend not doing that one

We did the baby food game, but put the food in cheap diapers so they had to smell the dirty diaper to figure it out. Made for some great pics! haha.
You could fill baby bottles with something and see who finishes their bottle first.
Baby alphabet-come up with a baby related item for each letter. The person whose answer doesn't match any others gets the point.
Then there's always the fallback-who knows mommy trivia, baby bingo.

when we did one for my niece a few years ago we did the pee-pee and poopy diaper pins. You take a several pieces of paper and on two of them you make the pee pee and poopy ones. You can write things like wet, stinky or whatever on them. Then you fold all the papers up like diapers and place them in a bowl. When each guest arrives have them draw one out and pin to their clothing. At the end of the party everyone removes them and whoever has the pee pee and poopy ones wins a prize.

You guys forgot the soda drinking race. Fill up baby bottles with soda see who finishes first, TIP > If they shake the baby bottle they will get it our faster and make a Big mess ... LOL

Also feed the baby, game is done by two's one will be the mommy the other the baby. blindfold the mommy, mommy feeds baby the baby that finish the baby food first wins. Babies may wear BIBS 

Another one - get 3 Big Diapers (by two's - mommy and baby) , if you can't find big ones, use rag diapers n pins - mommy that fasten the diaper on baby first wins.
