Do you know if there's a way to find out what company has actually received any fines?  How much is collected in fines each year?

I'm not sure whether or not such information is available under FOIA, (Freedom of Information Act), in that regard.

"In late May, ICE released a substantial portion of its internal guidance on administrative fines in civil worksite enforcement proceedings following a demand letter from the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Legal Action Center threatening Freedom of Information Act litigation."

Thanks!

The political class has decided that cheap labor for their business pals and handouts in exchange for votes trumps their oath of office and the protection of the American worker.  It is sickening, but an unfortunate fact of life.  Politicians selling out Americans for money and votes.

Ain't that the truth! Whatever happened to "We the People?" Oh, yeah, politicians are deaf. I'm so upset with the political scene right now, especially when it comes to the subject of ILLEGALS! Not immigration, if it's done through the proper channels. Very upset that the government doesn't follow their own laws! It is crippling this country. SICKENING!

I couldn't agree more...
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Thanks!

You're welcome, "torch".  The U.S. isn't the only country which has problems with illegal immigrants in the workforce, (which doubtless puts a different outlook on a U.S. citizen working illegally in another country).

Why doesnt the government do something. I worked in a store where I seen first hand hispanic people getting Food Stamps and most of them were getting like 800 to 1000 a month now they come in and buy junk food and a few non food stamp item when you tell them the balance is 5-20 dollars they whip out a hundred dollar bill how can someone get foodstamps and have like 5-6 100 dollar bills in their wallet I just dont get it what has the good ole USA come to???

How do you know how much they get a month?

to your answer if you read my whole post you would of seen that answer I would see their balance on fs wheneverr someone buys something with an ebt card they get the balance at the end and if they are using fs and then whip out a wallet and surf through 100 dollar bills why are they getting fs i dont know how much they make but it is irritating to see that they have more in their hand than what you make a week and they get fs and because you work you don't qualify

So you peek at their receipt? Pretty sure that's not legal.
