It depends on the movie really.  I mean if it is some romantic comedy than I really have no preference.  But, if the movie is like Avatar or something that would be greatly improved with the big screen and surround sound, then definitely the movie theater.

It depends.
My husband and I like to go out on "date" nights and a movie is fun date.

We also enjoy renting dvds and kicking back at home to watch movies.

Either way, we enjoy a bowl of popcorn with our movie!

It really depends.  It depends on what type of movie and who I am watching it with.  I really like watching movies at the theatre but there are times when I just want to kick my feet up at home.

Depends on the movie. The sci-fi are much better on the big screen. But with TV's these days you can probably get the same effect with a big screen TV and equalizer and good sterio at home.

There are certainly some incentives to popping in a DVD and plopping down on your couch to watch a movie at home; not the least of which is the cost. It IS expensive going to the movies. Between the price of the ticket and the almost obligatory trip to the concession stand, you can expect to personally drop about $20 for the event.

Depends on my mood! Sometimes I feel trapped and want to just get out of the house... other times, I just want to sit back in my jammies and be comfortable in my own house!!!!

I prefer movies at home primarily for cost but also because can stop and start whenever you want a break or get something to eat without missing anything.

I would rather watch a movie at home by renting it off the dishnetwork.  I have hearing problems and it seems everytime I go to the movies teenagers are not there to see the movie but rather socialize so its less agrevating if I just stay home.  Besides the drinks and snacks are a lot cheeper this way.

I have kids so it is easier to stay home, but I always did like the popcorn at the theater.
