going on a fun trip would u?
« on: May 06, 2012, 05:28:47 pm »
So I want to go out and go on a road trip or an extended age and i realized there is no good age for that really when you are young you are too old if you go after high school you cant afford without parents and not going to college is bad they think you will never will go hard during college because school and work if you work. And after college you should try to get a job not graduate then go on a trip what do you guys think? because when you are older you have a family a career no time. I  just think people always are looking for something whether you find it or not is one thing but at least you had one fun experience !!!

I don't understand your reasoning and to me it sounds like a cop out.  If you really have the desire to do something you will find a way to do it.  Stop making excuses and make a plan to achieve your goal.

Unless we've forgotten how it was to be so young, I'd estimate that what she means is that she wants to have the funds and time to do trips and generally only "fun" things while that considering college, jobs and life et al may interfere with that sort of thing.  It remains a choice for each of us to make, (although sometimes it's possible to get a mix of fun & responsibility along the way - no one said it had to be one or the otehr exclusively).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I think it depends on what length of time you are considering extended. You need the funds, college is important, and you are never to old to experience life. You can have a full-time job, family, and still go and enjoy....maybe at least for a couple weeks at a time, but it's better than not experiencing at all. Just be safe.
