exactly how do referrals work?
« on: April 26, 2012, 12:25:29 pm »
i am confused. exactly how do referrals work? How does FC know that it is you who referred someone? How does the link work?  I have been giving my link to everyone I know.

http://www.fusioncash.net/?ref=banderson5

Do they just click it and sign up and then confirm their email and that's it? I don't see how FC knows it is my referral.

Your user name is associated with your referral link. That is how referral links work. When they click on your referral link, your username is submitted with their information. That is how Fusion Cash knows who to give the credit to.

Don't worry, I assure you it works and has added thousands of dollars to my Fusioncash Income.

Thanks. I figured it was something like that but just didn't understand completely. Especially since I have had 2 confirmed referrals and have not received my credits for them yet. One from my sister and one from my brother. How long does it take? The support tells me it is as soon as the confirm, but no credit yet.

My approach is to not worry about it once it gets beyond my control. I get them to sign up and offer to provide help, but they have to take the next step and 95% of them never do, so I just concern myself with getting more.

okay, now I'm having an issue with my referrals. I sent out mass referrals to everyone I know and everyone on Facebook. I know for a fact that my sister and a close friend signed up, but I have not gotten credit for it yet. I talked to support and they won't help me at ALL. I am very angry and being that referrals are a big deal in helping us make the big bucks, I am considering quitting. WHAT SHOULD I DO?? :BangHead:

"Do not "spam" your referral link in bulletins or global messages on social networking sites, or otherwise violate their rules. Your account will be deactivated." -- FC referral page

If FC does not show your referrals as signing up under your FC username, either something glitched, (others and myself have valid FC referrals), your sister is using the same IP address as you are to log onto FC and/or your friend simply told you she'd signed up but, hasn't yet.  These are mentioned as possibilities, not certainties.

she used the referral link provided to me by FC on the referral page, used her own computer in a completely different city and forwarded me her email from FC where she received confirmation. It doesn't get more exact.

another friend did the same exact thing.

I think it is a glitch. it has to be. i don't want to quit, but i am also not getting credit for completed offers, where my checking account has been charged and I have proof of other completed surveys, there's a total of at lease $5 in daily's.  all i get from support, "we apologize, but there is nothing that we can do." "We sympathize with your frustration", and "fail due to reasons outside of our control." i just don't want to waist my time.

when does support ever actually help? why can't they prove that this is my friend and sister and put my referrals where they belong? it only seems like the right thing to do.

Okay, one thing that I can suggest to you is to re-send your referral link to them, (they may have to 'quit' FC if they're actually signed up ... in fact, you may want to have them do that anyway - that way, they'll know if they're members of FC already or not), and have them sign up 'again'.
I have no idea if this will work since I've never tried it.  Have a go at it?

Sure.  You might want to stay on the phone with them with both of you online at the same time.  That way, you can ask them what steps they are proceding through and make any course-corrections needed.

Make sure they are signing up by clicking your link and not just typing 'fusioncash.net' into the webpage.

When someone clicks a referral link it takes them to the sign up page and on the sign up page there is a question that says who referred you? with a box to answer in. When clicking a referral link, the username of the person providing that link is automatically filled in. So make sure they are not not deleting or altering that!! (for example, they should leave it alone if its already filled in, not type in your actual name, it must be username.)

Maybe its one of those 2 things, thats all I can think of? OH and they must confirm the email by actually clicking the link in the email for you to get the $1 bonus, and if they successfully complete an offer thats another $2 on top of the $1.

Good advice, 'storm.  Maybe she'll use it.
