Everyone is missing my point cuppy, I too like falcon, it's just the BIG words he uses that a "semi illiterate" doesnt understand..i'm sorry but it's annoying to me...i'm sure he's a sweetheart but why does he have to use such words...I mean comeon i'm "semi illiterate" hehe
So the problem is NOT him then...the problem is the "semi illiterate" which is why Falconer02's previous post is truly classic (and I feel his BEST work yet).
Agreed.......(and
TOTALLY agree re: Falconer02's post
)
Ever stop and consider that the "semi illiteracy" annoys falcon9, yet have you seen him start a "call out" thread addressed to various people to "call them" on it?
Myself...yes I would always consider that, as it annoys me too....and
NO! I have NOT seen him start ANY "call out" threads, addressed to ANYONE regarding any subject.
(GLAD you mentioned this!)
How much sense does it make to ask someone that has obviously spent alot of time studying, educating themselves to "dumb themselves down" just so the "semi illiterate" can "understand" them? If one feels inferior, doesn't it make more sense to take steps to improve one's own "illiteracy"?
BOTH excellent points, SherylsShado.....It would make no sense for ANY educated person to dumb down for those who can't (don't/won't?) understand them....and YES!! My vote is for ALWAYS trying to improve yourself in areas you may be lacking skills or knowledge in.
It's 'sad' to me that many of those that are "feeling so bad for falcon9", that feel free to insult and criticize him in this thread have said in former posts that they are "christian". It's a good thing they have let everyone know because no one would have guessed. Any "christian" that believes God gave them a brain should feel free to use it. If one is not in a "coma", they are a "steward" of what God has given to them, including their brain. One day we may give an account of what we have been a "steward" of...how happy do you think God is going to be with a group of people that he has given His "all" too, but they're a "few peas short of a casserole"? I think God would be more pleased if those that consider themselves "christian" displayed more evidence of being "His Creation" rather than a prime example of "evolution in reverse".
Now, while I am not a christian, I will say this:
IF I were, everything you say would make very good sense.....it still makes sense anyway, as we ARE "stewards" as you put it, of our own minds and bodies, and therefore responsible for our own "end results".
To NOT develop, exercise and try to use our minds to their full potential is shameful.
Thanks
for a good post, SherylsShado!
(Boy- falcon9 has a lot of reading/catching up to do when he gets here today!)
