Overwhelmed
« on: April 23, 2012, 06:42:49 pm »
Does anyone else feel overwhelmed? Between work, home, kids, extended family I never feel like I have a moment to myself nor do I think I do anything very well. Just feeling like I am getting by. What do you do to keep yourself motivated?

I definitely feel overwhelmed nowadays! It is very hard to balance the time on my hands with school, family, friends, girlfriend, and my money making sites. I am mostly overwhelmed by school and my girlfriend. It is hard to keep both things running smoothly because they require lots of attention  :dontknow:. Sometimes I just wish I can nap all day and not worry about anything.

People truly do have much on their plate with all things mentioned. I, for one, never had children. Even having just a spouse can be demanding at times. My "get away time" is spent reading or going out shopping by myself. Even locking yourself away in the bathroom soaking in a nice long bath with candles, and relaxing music if you choose, can do wonders for you!  :angel12:  :fish:

I totally feel overwhelmed to the point of lately feeling panickey.  sp?  I used to have panic attacks and I am afraid they are coming back.  I swear sometimes I feel like I can't take another thing.  Between my son, my parents and trying to take care of everyone I am about to lose it.  I also have a house and yard to take care of, trying to finish a degree, worrying about how long I can afford to take care of my mom instead of working.  Worrying about how long my dad will be able to take care of my mom.  Worrying that my kid never gets to go on vacation because we can't leave my parents.  Life basically sucks right now and there is no end in sight.  Yeah!  I am overwhelmed.  Problem is, that there are lots of people worse off than me, so I just keep trying to maintain and help others when I can.

I'm always overwhelmed but it's because I'm infertile.  There's nothing worse and overwhelming.

WEll it can be a lot to handle.  Sometimes you just have to have a stay at home day on the weekend where everyone can just chill out.  No extended family around or friends, just you and your family.  to help re-engergize the batteries

I do feel this way. I have a best friend that I talk to about anything and that helps.

Is summer camp a possibility for your child? It may relieve your mind a little about your childs vacation but I bet just being out of school and doing things with the family even little things means alot to him.  It sounds like you could use the vacation more hun. I feel for you and hope you find some relief soon.

I just recently started working again after being unemployed for over a year. I really took my "free" time for granted. I don't have time for anything now!

I know what you mean! Too much to do...too little time to do them. Prioritized what is very important and must be done first...then start doing the less important things

I've been putting in a lot of extra hours, so I'm defnitely stressing. When I get home I hardly feel like doing anything except sleep (and getting myself to do a little Fusioncash). People I interact with at work and on calls/conferences have also been very edgy and this doesn't help.
