I regret a lot of things I've done in my life. I wish I had spent more time with certain people before they passed. I wish I had kept in contact with schoolmates and still do not know why I often hesitate to reach out to them again via social media...  Just to name a couple of things.

I don't have many regrets but I do regret...

the times when I made work a priority over being a mom.

I missed being with my youngest son when it was his first day of school because I was required to be at work, instead.

My husband, at that time, was able to provide for us financially but I felt pressure to be all things to all people.  The opportunity to be a mother is a job within itself and I wish I had been there for my son.

Have a great day!

That's a specious claim because it lacks solid, (or any), evidence.  Evidence would exclude 'faith'. If you disagree, can you provide the relevant evidence?
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

That is one thing that I think it difficult for women in this day and age.  We are told we can be everything and we try to be, but you can't give 100% to everything.  People look down on the woman who wants to be just a mother cause they don't think it's a 'job' or whatever.  And then people look down on a woman who wants to have a career for being too cold and not caring about her family.  And yet when you do both, you still don't win.

Personally, I wish I stood up a bit more when I was younger.  I developed a rather strong personality after one day when I was young and I kinda wish I had done more with it.  I've stood up for people and tried to make people feel better about themselves, but I think I could've done more.

"Regret" is a horrible word.  We all have them, and that is why we are human!  I say don't spend your life looking in the rearview mirror because you may miss the road that is in front of you or where it takes you!
