It takes a lot of organizing and preparing for any kind of vacation, but it is usually worth it.

Have fun.  I love camping but the prep for it is exhausting.  Worth it though when you are in the middle of nowhere and actually have toilet paper.

I love camping..... I love the thrill and adventure of going outdoors and appreciating nature, like bear grylls. But too bad my wife doesn't agree on camping outdoors. "It's just not my scene" that's what she always say everytime i ask her. She's never done camping ever in her life.. :angry7:

She's missing a lot of fun.  Camping is the best.

My family goes camping every summer at least twice. It is relaxing and a lot of work.

I love camping. I can't get my hubby to go either. He's not into roughing it. (wuss)  ;D

Yeah, camping at the lake is our preference ;D
My sister and her family goes a lot more often than us. Her husband likes to take their boat out, and my sis is just a wizz at getting stuff organized and done. They have a camper but usually just take tents (they took the camper on a cross country trip ranging from Florida to Mexico to California a couple years ago though).
My other sister when she babysits sometimes sets up tents to "camp" in her yard with the kids!  :D
My sister-in-law, however, doesn't really care for the camping. My brother was talking about getting a camper maybe, because otherwise they have to rent cabins (or even hotels!) when going on "roughing it" vacations.

Anyways - I hope you enjoy your vacation! Have lots of fun!

look at the bright side of this!  IF it rains, or if you forgot something, you can ALWAYS sneak back the 5 blocks to get it!

I have nice memories of a few camping trips.
ILLINOIS - TENNESSEE - EVEN POLAND[ when I was there with college students 20 years younger than me].
Being out close to nature and in harmony with it is a fresh feeling, the early morning dew.
I liked being in the woods.
