My "top score" in Tribal Hop is pitiful

I play Tribal Hop every day and my "BEST" score  is 234.  I don't think I'll EVER get the bonus this month.  Darn.  Fun game though

Under the daily PTC $0.15 offer there are a bunch of different topics to click on.  The last one is Games.  If you click on that you'll see the monthly promotion.  This month it is "Tribal Hop".  If you get at least the score you can submit it and get a bonus.  The "rules" are on the page.

Just click when the next ledge is directly over head, or if your moving fast, click right before its gonna be directly overhead... I admit this game is hard but the first 1500 isnt bad.. It took me awhile but I finally got the bonus for this game, and actually got the highest score of all so far, 5117. It can be done, just takes persistence and patience. Oh and good timing 

Oh one other thing I figured out.. if you click but dont let go of the button, nothing happens so you can actually click, wait, and just let go of the button if it makes you more accurate.

firestorm420, Thanks for the great tips!  I need all the help I can get.  I'm not happy to hear, though, that the first 1500 is the easiest.  I shocked myself by reaching 600 once, but that was a fluke.  Holding the button down might help me.  I practice every day, but consistently float through the air to my demise at around 300!!!

Also keep in mind speed is a factor.. there is a timer under your score and when it reaches '90' you will be getting the least ammount of points for that jump (20 I think) If you jump fast youll get 2-4 X that ammount. So practice speed to, but know when to be patient!

Woohooo!  I got 410 today on Tribal Hop, thanks to your tip about holding the button down.  I was trying to click the button on the little orange guy, and was having trouble keeping up with him when he was going fast, but that's not even necessary.  Just hold the button down and when you are ready, let go. I don't think jumping faster is an option for me, but will keep trying.  Do you have a time limit for the game? Or do you get to keep going as long as you are not falling off your platform? I hadn't even noticed a timer.  Too much else going on!  It's amazing what a fifty cent incentive can do for an old granny!

Thank, Firestorm.  I used your tips and actually got to 600+ points.  Who knows?  Maybe I'll make the bonus before the end of the month.

First, you dont have to click on the guy, you can click anywere on the screen, I would suggest clicking in the middle.
Second, no there is no timer for the game, you can take all the time you want, Id wait to click again untill the screen has scrolled up and the guys at the bottom again, however if you jump fast to the platform, like within 1-5 seconds of landing on the platform you just jumped to, you get more points then waiting longer.. after about 10 seconds (maybe less) it doesnt matter and the points will be the same.

I'm excited to report that I made 960 today.  See!!!  Practice does help.  I don't know why this would be important to me, but I feel so proud that I can finally "know" when to jump.  It just doesn't always work out.  But I definitely have a better feel for the positioning and if I can get my little man in his "spot", I know when it's time to jump.  There's hope for me yet, but probably not THIS month.

My highest so far has been 798 and I wasn't realy trying. Maybe I'll try that some more often

Now that I think about it I could have made so much more money after all the time I've wasted this month on this game
