I am growing a vegetable garden. I would like to grow flowers but I will probably wait until next year to do that.

I am so disappointed at my garden.... i made it last february.... now it's too hot in my area all my bromeliads died even my lovely tulips wilted and my carnations..... the only plants that are still struggling would be my rosebush and african violets..... :-

Mine looks like it's going to be a 5 scene show.  the tulips came and went the apple tree already blossomed waiting on the lillys and the peones.  Then the vegetable garden should come in.  I think it's going to be a good year.

I definitly do not have a green thumb,  I could not even grow weeds.  That is my husbands area of expertise, every evening after work and on the weekends, he is outside, watering, weeding, planting, and whatever else it is that people who can grow plants and not kill them do, to keep our yard looking beautiful. :dontknow:

my garden is so pretty all my flowers look so nice do you have a green thumb

I do not have a green thumb.  I usually buy some hanging potted flowers for the patio.  In front I have 2 whiskey barrel planters and plant petunias since they grow by themselves with no fussing from me.

I do have a green thumb and love to garden. I'm looking forward to doing a lot of container gardening this summer!  I just spend the first days of sun in Washington re-potting my house plants outside. It was a beautiful day and really got me excited about the coming gardening season. I can hardly wait to get my seedlings started.  Thanks for this great topic and for the opportunity to think about Summer some more today!
