People do it now when they use their signature that shows their earnings. So yes, it is perfectly okay.

Actually Admin may have added it that links are removed in signatures now - due to people not following the rules. So the referral link may be stripped out automatically - I will confirm and let you know.

Cool, thanks.  I did test it previously this afternoon and the FC referral link had been place with a "*link removed*" message.
