     I don't understand the big concern over "is the world going to end in 2012" (or any other year for that matter)...if it ends, that will settle things.  If it doesn't...it doesn't mean everyone is guaranteed to live to the end of another year.   
     People die all the time of all ages and many deaths are "unexpected"... no one gets out of this world alive no matter what the calendar says.  It's ironic how so many people are stressing over 2012's "end of the world" when NO ONE is guaranteed their next breath. :-

In the Bible, it says no one knows the end of the world, but when it does end, it will happen like a thief in the night.  If someone knows a thief is coming, they will be ready for him and the thief probably won't come in....no one knows when it will end but God.

Hate to break this to you but the bible is a work of fiction. It has nice stories and a lot can be learned from it in terms of being a good person. However, you must realize that... THE BIBLE IS NOT AN ENCYCLOPEDIA!

Just like religion there are somehow different interpretations of the mayan calender.  I personally feel that anyone who thinks the world is going to end this december should be put in a mental institution.

Hey Hey Hey Not till I get to Vegas then let it do whatever it wants....lol...Nah I doubt it people have been saying that for years. I think its just something made up to keep us interested and talking, the BIG MILLENNIUM/Y2K never happened the year 2000 went by just like every other you had your problems but nothing major.

My Windows calendar goes well past 2012. Proof enough for me we'll survive past 2012. Has Bill Gates ever been wrong?

I like that.  I don't believe the world will end; however, I believe things will change as they have been changing.  We see that everyday on the news.
