I took my daughter and her friend to the premier.  They were devoted fans of the book. I had not read it but heard about it in great detail from my daughter and i enjoyed it much more then I thought i would.  The girls really liked it and thought it did a good job of following the book.  I thought it was a little too long but know they were trying to please the rabid fans.  The violence isn't real gory but it is pretty intense.

That whole premier thing is insane!  I told the girls they had better be old enough to drive themselves to the next one because I'm too old to be getting home from a movie at 2:30 in the morning.

I haven't seen it.  The previews made me think it could be pretty good but didn't get me that excited about it.  It did do real good in the box office the first three weekends, but I will wait til it comes out on dvd.

I saw the movie and it was great. Then the next day there was so many reviews on the movie about how little girl was black. There was so many racist peolpe talking about that. It was a shame.

I dont really care for the main actress, I dont think she can act very well.

I thought the movie was good; though a little long!  The first part and the last were awesome!  But; it dragged a lot in between!
