I rarely buy lottery tickets. At work this time we all threw in some $$ and were going to split the winnings. We bought 80 tickets between 12 people and won $7.50. Bummer.

I don't play very often any more, but I love to see people win...

I play 2 times a week $4.00 each time..I actually won 4000 bucks a few years ago so that keeps me playing lmao

Wow, that's great! I used to play the lottery, about $20 a week, wheeling the same numbers. I decided I couldn't afford it any more and 3 weeks after I quit 5 out of 6 of my numbers came up, would have been $42,000. I quit ALL gambling for about 3 years, now I just play once in awhile.

I read where our chances of winning a major lottery are 1 in 44,000 years!  :o

The place I work at gives out lotto tickets sometimes as incentives.  If I ever win anything I'll use that money to buy another lotto ticket because it was free money anyway.  Occasionally I will buy a ticket or two if the $ amount is appealing enough.  Anything other than that I consider a waste of money.  My husband calls lotto tickets the "idiot tax" .... guess that means I'm an idiot every once in a while.   ::)
