You can always play an MMORPG (massive mulltiplayer online roleplaying game) like WoW, Knight online, Lord of the Rings online, etc. Be sure to join a clan/guild and stay somewhat active.

How about going outside and going to a park full of people? for me its not hard , its easy , sometimes i meet new people in the strangest ways lol ,

Well there's your problem right there! You'll need to step out of your comfort zone a little. Have you considered sports through a school or rec league?

I am painfully shy and very awkward. I do not know how to initiate a conversation with people, which leads to my not having many friends.

Join sports and clubs. A majority of my friends are from my volleyball teams, school and club volleyball.
