Where does Google rank you?

One of the guys I know kinda brags how if you look up just his name (first and last) on Google, you'll find his information within the first few links.  So, of course, I had to check and indeed, the 1st, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 9th links all relate to him.

So, I had to find out where I was, since a few years ago I didn't exist on the internet it seems.  Surprisingly, I found my LinkedIn account on the first page.  Facebook took a while, but it's on private so that's good to know.

If you look up just your name, how long does it take to find you?

There are several people who have my same name but none of the info that comes up has to do with me and that's fine with me.  The less info about me online the better.  I don't use my real name on any accounts (social networking or otherwise).  I don't put pictures up of myself online.  The less people can search about me the better.

That's nothing, I take up the first 5 pages of Google if you type in my first and last name.
