Tool Bar Search Rewards
« on: March 24, 2012, 07:07:58 pm »
Did anyone not get credited today 3/24/12? I completed my searches to earn $0.05 but the money never showed up in my account. Did anyone else ever have this problem?

Do your searches slowly and be sure to click on at least one result for every four searches. Watch the counter also after each search. It should be ticking up by one after each search. I've found that the automated system here has a few glitches and it did freeze up on me after 91 searches in mid-Feb. I had to wait until the system reset on 3/1 for the search rewards to credit again. Now they're mostly working fine for me. Occasionally one of my searches does not register with the counter (it doesn't change). Then I'm extra-careful with my next search and by doing that the count resumes (so far at least).

If you continue to have problems with the search rewards, I would wait until the counter resets at zero on April 1st and resume careful searches then. That worked for me.  :peace:

I too was wondering how long it takes for the payments to catch up to the amount of searches I do? I search at a somewhat slow pace and always click on at least 1 or 2 of the results. But my payments are behind. I realize it's an on going process, I was just curious.  Thanks!  ;)

I finally learned how to do the searched properly so that I would get credit for them, by going slowly and actually clicking on one of the links, however at the beginning of the month the search function locked up my computer and it had to restart, well the toolbar search took the restart as a new repeat search and DQ'd me for the rest of the month and this was on the first day of March. REally P.O'd about that, because it used to reset after about 2 or 3 days, now it makes you wait the whole month until the first of the new month, kind of a scam if you ask me. Even if I had to wait 7 days that would have been more acceptable. So this month I did all my search on a different site that paid me my full 5 cents at 1 cent per search not 1 per 4. Somewhat  a little loss for me here, but also a loss for FC, because as they say, if we don't get paid, they don't get paid. The change in the parameters and guidelines would be worth reviewing as since this started many people have had difficulties with it and the information that was originally available was far from clear. It has take numerous posts throughout the forum to try and get everyone up to speed and even with those, in this most recent change where the reset now only happens at the beginning of the month, there was no pro active announcement to that effect and so we are all proceeding blindly forward not knowing what is going on or how the whole thing is working. It then becomes loose and learn rather than live and learn. Just not very honorable or good PR especially for new folks.
