How do you feel about the New Orlean Saints? I for one am sickened by this behavior. They should be stripped of the superbowl honor.

Unbelievable behavior by these guys.  Apparently the 'brotherhood' of the NFL players includes ending the careers of their peers.  The punishments are harsh but not severe.  I am pretty sure the defensive coordinator is done in the NFL as this isn't his first offense.

pattersondebr ~ never heard about this incident before. So, what happen? The saints are one of my favorite

teams b/c they were my husband's (RIP) home town team & they were always the underdog. I on the other hand pick my teams according to how good & put together their outfits look & the Saints colors look good to me. Lol!

I don't like that type of behavior, if it is true. I think the NFL Comissioner is handling it correct! They have to stop this type of behavior before it spreads. People can get hurt badly. I know that football is a dangerous sport but, to try to put someone on a stretcher or knock them out is a little out of bounds.

when the commissioner said this would send a message he wasn't lying i know some saints fan were saying the coach may get 4 games they were a lot off on that one this is wild

Maybe other teams are doing something like this but not at this extreme. I'm shocked that anyone would except taking payment for purposely hurt another player not only to end thier career but could end thier life. Warren Sapp called the person reporting this behavior a snitch, I call him a hero.

I am not a fan ofthe Saints but they make me sick of what they have did to the game of football no wonder Reggie was trying to get out of there but he is a cheater also which also made him a good match for the Saints on the cheating side. I don't actually know what to sa about the situation at all. Its very embaresing.

This could work out great for Drew Brees, the team needs to move past this. He is going to have to be the coach on the
field, to create some stability! His long term deal with be done in a few weeks!

No professional sports team has ever been stripped of their championship as far as I know, in reality they did win all the games still.  But they did do the league wrong, and the GM, coaches and soon the players will be paying the price.  The fans of football will no doubt be having mixed feelings about it but I think the punishment is pretty fair so far.

I think they got what they deserve so far.  I also think all players that were involved in this especially ones that actually got the money should be banned from football period.
