I just checked on my daily Fusion ( I look every day as part of my daily click.) The gas here in the Northwest has gone up 56 cents over the last month. I keep waiting for a dip in the prices which sometimes comes for about one week during rises like this, but haven't seen one here yet. Costco is at 3.87 here today. It was 3.31 about this time last month. That's quite a jump.  Looking forward to seeing some relief soon!

Gas prices here are now around $3.62 (front range co, not denver). But like a lot of people who have responded to my post (thank you for that) there is a lot of variation between the gas stations. I was able to get gas today for $3.62 per gallon, but along the interstate it is more expensive (which is obvious they would raise prices of places right along the interstate) but a place I saw today that was only about 5 miles from the original place I got gas was $3.90, almost a .30 difference which means a lot since I had to get 13 gallons.

However, the good thing about this (trying to be optimistic) is that it has helped me be more responsible with my gas. I used to let my tank get close to empty until I would fill it up again. Now I do not let it drop more than half a tank because it is more expensive to fill up my whole tank. Also, it makes me stay close to home and do things close to my house, or stay in. That also helps me save money since there isn't much to do right nearby my house. So I will go hiking, clean the house, not go shopping. So that does help me save some money.

Gas prices have risen to $4.36 in the Chicago suburbs this past week, and that's at Costco. Yikes!  :o

Between 3.93 and .3.99 south Florida. I'm going to be getting on the city bus real soon. I wish we had a sub way station that had stops like New York. You know what if gas wasn't so high then people would travel more, spend more money, creating more jobs which would give people more money to spend. And stop out sourcing which leads into a whole other ball game.

I would like to think there is going to be some relief soon, and that gas prices might go down. I would even be happy if they stayed stable instead of going up. However, I feel with summer coming around and so many people going on vacation and road trips, that prices are going to be rising again for that season. I guess this leads to the fact that less people will be travelling this summer and staying closer to home. I am wondering what tourist season will look like around here (I would be happy with less people on the roads).

Yeah that suck for us.  I heard that the gas will go up even more on the summer.  I'm not going any where in the summer.
