This is your problem. Internship = Experience. You can't just go from College to a real job, thats why they make internships. What employer would want to hire someone straight outta college with no real life experience? Certainly not a smart one...get an internship or you may have to wait out the recession.

How is it possible to work your butt off for 4 years to get your college degree and feel SOME sort of satisfaction and pride towards yourself if you cannot get a job?

I recently graduated and got my 4 year degree.  I cannot find a job because every job I try to apply to wants 5-10 years experience??  I have supported myself since i was 17 years old, paid my own bills and worked all through college.  I did not have the means to get an internship that didnt pay me and I dont have the means now, what do I do?  

You are not alone. I would suggest working a not-so-glamorous job until things get better. I graduated top of my class and a friend of mine got a much better job than I do right now and he has NO college experience. Just keep your chin up and keep looking. Would you consider moving if there was a job for you somewhere?

Try Enterprise....good company and any experience is good experience.  My husband has 3 degrees so I know how frustrating it can be.  Just remember 98% of us don't fall into the field they studied for.
