Paypal Verification

In order to cash out, does your PayPal account need to be linked to a checking account?  If not, then what does it mean to have your PayPal "verified"? It won't allow me to cash out because it says my account isn't verified.  But my PayPal account is fine.  I use it all the time. What should I do?

I believe you can verify your PAYPAL account by using either your bank account or linking it to the PAYPAL credit card.

If you have a checking account, it is an easy process to verify your PAYPAL account using your checking account.  PAYPAL simply makes 2 small deposits into your checking acccount and you tell them what the amounts are.  You don't even have to give the money back. (This is what I did.)

Not sure if you can use a saving account in a bank instead of a checking account -- would depends on whether the bank will accept direct deposits and withdrawals from that type account.

You do want to have a verified PAYPAL account. 

FC is not the only site that requires it's members to have a verified PAYPAL account in order to cashout to PAYPAL.  With FC, you do have the option of requesting a check.
