Most sports bras I've seen female joggers wearing seem appropriate, (especially in hot weather).  A guy in one might be more inappropriate.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I don't see any issues with a female wearing a sports bra in the described scenario. Is this for general leisure wear or exercise purposes? I guess my question is based on wiki's mentioning about exercise and the discomfort wearing them. Also, is the vicinity you would most likely be during this time somewhere you think would be a bit more conservative? I see females periodically in the city  I'm located at wearing sports bras jogging and no one has any vivid complaints.

I've gotta agree with dodgers16... looking at your profile pic, I'm definitely FOR you wearing a sports bra and running down the street.  (If you do, please send me a pic!)... :-)

Whenever I go hiking in the summer time, the heat can be grueling. It doesn’t take long to work up a sweat doing cardio. You want to cool off and stay hydrated. I’ve seen a few female hikers wear one and some guys go topless too. I prefer to wear tanks and T-shirts. Not every female choose to wear one, but if you feel comfortable in it, feel free to do so. It’s normal for female joggers and hikers to wear one during the summer.

I think as long as it's decent and covers what it's supposed to then it's fine.

As long as it is comfortable and your comfortable with it.  Than enjoy the attention you get and ignore the social minority who would frown and give you greif about it.

There are those that can wear one and look great, but there are some that should stay away from wearing one without a cover. Me included. You know who you are.

Most sports bras conceal cleavage rather than flaunt it, so I don't think they're indecent.  If guys can run with their shirts off, you can run in your sports bra!!
