I haven't gone somewhere for a vacation in years.  If I could I'd go to Hawaii.  I visited there once and loved it.

I haven't went anywhere for a vacation in a long time.  With the price of gas now, probably won't do anything special this summer.  Maybe have a few friends in for a get together and cookout a few times.  But if I was able to go somewhere, not sure where I would go, maybe to Florida to see a friend whom I haven't seen in quite a few years.

I live in south Florida so I feel like I am on vacation all the time. However, I would like to visit a monastery for a spiritual vacation retreat. :)

Going to the Bahamas in July.  I've never been, can't wait!

We are going to the South Carolina coast again this year for vacation.  We went there last year camping and had a really great time, so we are doing it again this year!

I think I would like to spend the summer in New York. I will rent an apartment and stay for a month. See all the sights and go to the shows. Save money by making my own food instead of eating out and making the best time even better by doing a little shopping and maybe taking a class. I think that will make for a great summer there are so many things to do in New York in the summer. ;) ;) ;)

I will vacation miles from people under elder cedar trees warming scentily in the sun with a soft breeze blowing in the boughs while listening to the faint lapping break of water on the rocks from a serene alpine lake....

I don't think we're going anywhere. There was talk of going to Colorado, where most of our family is, but I don't know if that will happen. My grandpa died last month and I wasn't able to go to the funeral so I'd like to go to his grave and pay my respects.

I do a lot of "stay-cations" with comped rooms from a casino.  It allows me to take my child out of the house and stay in a hotel and explore our own city in a way most people don't get a chance to on a serious budget.. and watching the ships on the river out the hotel window for half of the day is wonderfully relaxing and okay with me, too!!
