thanks hope this site works for me
The site will work. It is a good place. Really does require patience when doing surveys. All of them do. May I suggest going over the FC tutorials again and stay in touch with the Forum. There is a lot of help here in the Forum. Also, develop a routine that you are comfortable with.

oh too bad. sorry for that i dont usually do surveys either i get really frustrated because it takes a lot of time just to tell you after 10 mn that you dont qualify. that sucks. but every now and then i try some surveys just to try my luck

Totally agree.  I try each of the "daily" surveys... usually I am DQd after 3 or 4 questions, but since I'm doing this while I'm watching TV anyway, I dont really care.

BUT........ today, I got past all the pre-qualification questions and watched a 30 minute video... only to get a "thanks but no thanks" message.  As I said, its not a huge deal to me, but really?  35 minutes to be disqualified?   LAME!

I usually enjoy doing surveys, I dont mind giving opinions since I have so many..lol. However, I agree about the qualifying matter.. I understand the reasons for demographic quotas and the need for so many of a variety.. BUT what gets me is when you are CLEARLY past the qualifying process and answering MANY different questions "masked" as qualifying.. example what is your opinion on.... would you try.. and 50 other questions that give them useful info that takes 40 or 50 min and then you get to a closing page and it says sorry you dont qualify. I am not talking about a survey that meets requirements while you are in one... I mean one that seems like its screening, goes into actual questions and 40 min later.. ok were done got the info.. but we are gonna throw this account off on not qualifying.. I understand we are here to help and are interested in doing these things. However, I would rather them be honest like hey we arent going to pay you for this but would like your opinion rather than offer you money " if you qualify" and then get all your opinions and not "qualify" you.. Just venting as well.... still love the site xoxoxoxoxo  Just know that we are smarter than you give us credit for sometimes. One more thing I understand asking the same demographic questions a few times to validate our answers however, i would rather be asked how much I make 1,000 times rather than info on my children. I understand the fact that I have kids I might have useful knowledge on kids products, but asking specifics on our kids SO many times back to back gets a little un easy..

I agree, TOliver, about some surveys that go well beyond a "pre-qual" into opinions and everything under the sun...and right before the end you get disqualified. You know they're using that information for their studies. If they're gonna pull that, they should at least offer a partial incentive for your time. So far I've had pretty good luck with the surveys on FC though. I love how we can at least earn a cent if we get past the initial screening. Yesterday though, I was doing a tablet survey and my computer locked up in the middle and I had to restart my browser. Now I can't take it again because it says I already did it. Oh well. I've just gotten to accept that some days are better than others!   :P

I have talked about how I don't do the surveys here or anywhere else anymore because I get too frustrated when you answer questions for a long time and then don't qualify.

Well, tonight I got this email for a FC Survey:
You're invited to join a new movie and TV panel! As a member of this panel you'll evaluate new movies and TV shows and bet in a fantasy league format on how well you think they will perform. Your winnings can be exchanged for various cash and prizes! To earn your reward from us, you must join and bet on at least 5 topics in new panel.

Since I thought it sounded kinda interesting and because it said that the time to complete was only 5 minutes, I thought I would give it a go.  Well 10 minutes into it after they had asked me the age of my child 7 or 8 times, they said I didn't qualify.  I don't mind not qualifying so much, but I don't think they should be able to tell you that the survey takes 5 minutes when it takes 10 minutes to qualify and be told you don't make it.  And they survey had nothing to do with what the email said.

Ok just wanted to vent.  Guess I just needed to be reminded why I don't do surveys.  lol
I can see your point it is very long and tedious. What do you do now if I may ask?

I used to get a little frustrated with the surveys, but not anymore. I keep at them until I qualify for one. Lately, I've qualified for more surveys than I have in the past, so for me it balances out.
