This would depend largely upon your specific needs and how much you're willing to spend.  I like Verizon Wireless but, haven't tried too many others.  I can opine that both Cricket and Virgin Mobile are less than optimal choices, (due to poor service).

I have Boost Mobile with shrinkage, it is a prepaid plan, no contracts, after 6 on time payments they take 5 bucks off of you monthly total bringing it down to 45, then after another 6 months of on time payments they take another 5 off, making it 40, and finally after another 6 months it goes down another 5 to 35 a month. Love the service and have never had any problems.
