You shouldn't.  The entire idea of letting them go if you love them is supposed to be for their happiness.  If they are happy somewhere else, then that is that.

One thing about it -you can not make a person love you. You will only make your life more miserable. Lots of fish in the sea!

It is very hard to let go of the one you love, espcially if they don't feel the same about you. I was with my sons father for 2 years and when I got pregnant he left me for somebody else.. I waited, waited, & waited and couldn't belive he would leave me and his son but he did and now that we are happy and have our own family w/o him he likes to pop up and stir things up and leave again. Your best bet is not to wait and to just move on with your life because it seems like waiting will only lead to more heart break... and if they come back hopefully you can work out the problems for the better... good luck  love is no easy task

You should definitely try not to wait, as hard as that is. Try getting involved in some activities that you like or used to like, reconnecting with old friends. And that may help in the meantime. I wish you the best.

i think you shouldn't wait. if it happens it happens and if it doesn't oh well and keep on moving on to the next.. that's what i think makes more sense
