The way some people type online these days is incredibly irritating. I just don't see the point of leaving out vowels, using numbers in place of letters, shortening words that honestly have no business being shortened (one example: "is"), alternating between lower case and capital letters, improper word usage (grammar or using a word that doesn't mean what you are trying to use it as), or just plain typing like you are one the most uneducated, illiterate dim wits in the universe. I understand mistakes can happen, but to type absolutely NOTHING correctly........is  :bs:

Sounds like 'chatspeak'; a lazy way of communication nominally employed by the impatient.

Use a laptop for a minute and let it all skip around on you.

lol  Are you trollin'?

In response to the OP: YES spelling/grammatical errors peeve me a little bit!  And it's scary how commonplace they are.  I'm sorry, but I do judge your intelligence based on your ability to have a proper command of the English language.

Somehow, a person who declares that they're "a highly-skilleded noo-clee-air tecknishun whose fixin' ta git ready to push this hare red button marked 'lunch'" doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence in other people?

Dang, that sounds just like falcon trying to be a comedian.  Wait, he's really only here to irritate others.  Comedian?...   Pain in the *bleep*?...   Wow, how do we decide?

Wow, that reads like "cheetah" is trying to appear sardonic, (look it up), and failing.  Wait, he's only here to complain about being unable to substantiate his empty claims, right?  How is one to decide, (when both apply)?

That depends; somehow, a person who declares that they're "a highly-skilleded noo-clee-air tecknishun whose fixin' ta git ready to push this hare red button marked 'lunch'" doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence in them.

If you can't spell a word then you either use a word you can actually spell or use spell check. It's really not that complicated. It annoys me when people use to use big words to sound smart or try to insult someone and spell it incorrectly.

'Abso-frickin-lutely'.  This is why I only use words that I comprehend the meaning of, (being that it's not really my concern if others cannot understand them since I endeavor to not 'dumb it down' for the semi-literate).
