Snuggies
« on: February 05, 2009, 02:05:14 pm »
So have you seen the super creepy commercials for Snuggies? I thought they were awful looking. But then my roommate got me one for Christmas. And it's awesome. I love it. If FC got a Snuggie offer, I would do it so I could spread the joy of Snuggie.

I have a robe and I like it, but I also enjoy my snuggie. It's basically a really big fleece blanket with two tubes near the top. But it is quite cozy  ;D

lol this post cracks me up!!! I agree about the robe thing. But I have to be honest...my 3 year old daughter has been asking for one since the commercial came out!! LMAO!!! At Christmas, anytime we asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her, she said,"Santa's gonna bring me a Snuggie!!!....A BLUE ONE!!!". LOL!!! Needless to say she forgot about it when she got all of her toys that morning, but she STILL wants one!!! And it doesn't help that the commercial is on every channel, every other minute!!!  :BangHead: Someone is sitting in their mansion LAUGHING THEIR  :bootyshake: off because they used their robe backwards for so many years and now they're making TONS off of it!!! TONS off this SILLY little thing!!! It's amazing how far a stupid idea can go these days!!! I can only hope that one day SOON, one of my "stupid ideas" will make it BIG!!!!   And when it does, I'll be sure to contact FC to use my company as an offer here!!  ;D

I like the snuggie concept but I would much rather it open in the front vs the back. It's so big that it would matter if it opened in the back or front.

you can wear it backwards... but then its more of a robe with a square top. lol.

LOL... I got my boyfriend at the time a "Slanket" for Christmas last year. In my opinion, it's much better than a Snuggie! I think the Snuggie is like a bobo version of the Slanket. My sister has a Snuggie & it is not as big or plush as the Slanket! Either way though... I love those things! I love sitting around on the couch in a blanket... & a blanket with arms is even better  ;D

doesn't anyone else think that people are just getting lazier and lazier these days, is it really that hard to pull up a blanket and then throw it off when you want to get up ???

Why does it have to be about laziness? Some things are just comfy & fun. Is it lazy when someone wants to curl up on the couch with a blanket?? So... add arms to the blanket! It's just convenient for holding your cup of hot cocoa!!  ;D

i'd buy one, it's annoying getting something and having the blanket fall off.
