Exactly so.  I haven't seen a single satanist, amish, wiccan or voudoun practitioner give me near as much static on FC as some xtians have.  Now, you may feel that's because there aren't as many of those, (at least proportionately), but they are out there - much to the chargrin of some xtians who believe the U.S. is a 'xtian nation by majority'.  Plus, lots of 'em vote.  Scary thought?

I generally think that these people giving you large amounts of flak about arguing with them are the same who believe there's a "war of christianity" in this country. Anyone who argues against a christian seems to immediately label the opposition as an evil enemy in their mind instead of just an opponent in a random internet debate.

 :)

I will say the christian "vets" on this forum are not like this though and usually are deserving of respect.

U can get the hell off the status if u wanna say Christian bs... Take ur ignorant a$$ to another thread and stay off this one

I imagine an admin is probably going to lock this thread soon and there's a 50/50 chance you're going to be banned for this type of immature crap you keep posting. Grow up.

I suggest everyone report him if he keeps this up.

falcon02:
My post there to cubboo about "Jesus posting on FC"---that was heavy sarcasm, not an actual compliment.

Yep, being a strong supporter of sarcastic humor, I caught yours.

What 'faith' thing of mine do I need to get back too?  I wasn't aware that I left "anyone hanging".  If I did, let me know.

IIRC, it was in the "Let's Be Honest About Prayer" thread however, the reference was to further discussion and not really to a cliff-hanger.

I'll be back tomorrow probably unless I have to stay at work late.  I have to go and hopefully find a doggie daycare for my dog this weekend (because of my job) and it'll be a first for her.

Okay.  There are some good and some not-so-good daycare for animals out there.  When I've used them before, I make sure to ask to go back where the animals are kept to see how that's done.  If it's all stacked cages with no attention beyond feeding/waste removal, (or lack of those basics), wariness increases.  Good luck in finding a pup resort.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

:angry7:        Great last post there cubboo, that definitely looked like something Jesus would have posted Hisself if He were a FC member.

Cubboo---Mods don't need to do anything about falcon9.  He is most definitely on my "list of faves".  He's honest, kind, sincere, patient, open, gentle-hearted, intelligent, and humorous just to name a FEW of his good qualities.  He has contributed many interesting posts to the FC forums.

Sorry, if Admin asked me about "cubboo"...I wouldn't be able to put three good words in your favor for you
after that last post of yours.

IMO, I think you need to spend less time in this thread "hate-bashing" a nice FC member and more time reading your Bible and learning about how Christians are supposed to treat others.

Ur right that wasn't very Christisn like I apologize.

How xtian-like is it to create a trolling 'flame'-thread?

i'm not defending anyone here, but my goodness,
is it that hard to skip over his post as soon as you see
his name? if falcon9 (or anyone else in your life) bothers
you THAT much, ignore him!

you come here voluntarily, just like the rest of us.

I'm with you! Not going to say a specific name but there was a person awhile back and every time I saw their name all I could think was... again... so I would skip over what they wrote entirely to save myself from getting worked up and annoyed over something that in the larger picture isn't a big deal.

As for Falcon, I posted a thread in regards to prayer this month which has quite the participation from Falcon and a lot of the others but you don't see me complaining about them. Being a voluntary site/thread, it is my personal choice to enter D&D, be prepared for cross fire and I have chosen not to respond. That may seem cowardly to others but in all honesty I just wanted to see what people had to say about my actual topic, I wasn't in it for all the religious, is there a God jazz so as always D&D is at your own risk, you know they'll be there

How trollish is it for you to post to someone whom you have on "ignore"?

While that's a very realistic approach, posting in D+D without the intention of participating sounds awfully close to 'trolling for responses', (and possibly posting bonus credits).

Some risk exists wherever you are, on or offline.  At least the warning to enter D+D exists to remind one of such risks.

Well I've already covered that over there in that thread but so people on this thread understand it's not trolling as I usually post at least one question like that each month and do not always respond. If FC had an issue with the way I do things than they wouldn't have paid me my forum bonus every month since July of 2010. Just like the many others that came before it, that thread will be picked as one of my top 3 this month, one because I posted a topic and two it's almost 10 pages long so heck it must be good ;D

It's entirely possible that you misunderstood my comment; "trolling" isn't automatically a 'negative' thing, (it generally means posting to elicit a response, not necessarily 'goading' or 'flaming').  The vast majority of topics posted are intended to elicit a response, (asking a question, answering one, discussion over a variety of topics).  In this sense, most of us are "trolling".  Within that concept is intent.  An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.  While that isn't an all-inclusive definition, (and by not being one, seems to allow 'trolls' to designate those who disagree with them as being trolls), FC includes an off-topic subforum.  I'm unsure how one would go about being off-topic for the off-topic subforum, (because if the post is on-topic, it mets the general catagory definition by being topically included in "Off-Topic" and if its off-topic while being posted in the Off-Topic subforum, its still on-topic).  Isn't logic grand?

Why are you taking this so personally, like you are going to meet falcon9 in person or something? I think the fact that you are arguing with falcon9 so much could be what the problem is!!! Think about it! :bootyshake:
