My favorite Whitney Houston song will always be I wanna dance with somebody.  Not to knock all you 'I will always love you' fans but that song isn't hers.  It belongs to Dolly Parton sang the original back in the 70's when she was just starting out then again in 1997 as a duet with Vince Gill.  Whitney Houston's version is a remake done for that awful movie the Bodyguard (Get waiting to exhale or the preachers wife.)  So the question should be what's your favorite TRUE Whintey Houston song. I wanna dance with somebody shows her vocal range and (if you want her music video) her sense of humor and I think that's the way she would like to be remembered as a bold woman not afraid to have a good laugh.

I have always loved, One Moment in Time.  Her voice was amazing and could give any one chills at the range.  She was a one in a million for sure and will be missed.  It's too bad she wasn't able to overcome her battles.  RIP Whitney!

If I had to re-pick a true Whitney Houston song, then I would definitely have to agree that I Wanna Dance with Somebody would be it. It just brings back so many memories. We had a cassette playing Karaoke machine that we sang on everyday when I was growing up and that was another one of her songs that we sang to a lot.
