Tattoos: Yey or Ney?

coz everybody in my family will start labeling me as a bad girl and they will wont respect me as much..
its permanent!!! and the color fades away as time goes by, so it wont be as cool

i think tattoos can look tasteful on some people. on others, i think they look tacky lol, but it doesn't really bother me, bc it's a form of expression...i think people should be able to do what they want to their bodies. i don't think i personally will ever get a tattoo though.

I have 3 Tattoos and I'll be 50 on my next Birthday. One is on my leg.....a heart with my Husband's name. One is on my back.....Betty Boop dressed as a Witch with Witchy Woman above it and the other is on the top of my right hand.....Pentagram with Rose through it.

I say Yey. Its a freedom of expression for most people. For others its a form of a cultured belief, some areas believe certain tattoos are a form of protection, identification, and "style." I completely believe tattoos are a form of art and a form of art history being around for so many years.

nay: God gave us our bodies and I believe that we shouldn't "modify" or change our bodies b/c God made them in his image, and we may be defacing our body by putting tattoos on it. You don't have to agree with me; this is only what I think.

 I lived in a very strict family and I remember my "mother" telling me "not till your 18". Oh Boy! She should of never said that...lol. I have more then just tattoos..but that's another topic..lol.

i say yey i have a tattoo on my shoulder of a cross and i am going to get something else on my back, just make sure you put a lot of thought into what you wanna get.

Once you get old, it just looks plain ridiculous.
