I DID forgot that "Yall" might enjoy supporting Cubboo-boo in his (her?) efforts to single-handedly make a complete :bootyshake: of him/herself.

Not that "cubboo" needs or, would properly appreciate such support though, (or that watching his continued antics is particularly enjoyable).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

What is it about so many people in this country who are happy to have the rights and privileges of being an American citizen, but want to pass judgment on what other Americans should and should not have? So if you are against gay marriage and the rights that come along with it - how about canceling taxes for those you want to disenfranchise?  If all the privileges of being an American aren't given then why should the rest be expected? And believe me it would be quite a bit of money if all the gays and lesbians (over 3 million) were not required to pay taxes. I suggest that those of you that have a problem with other Americans having rights spend more time worrying about what you are doing in your own lives and less time judging others. So many here want to quote the bible. I believe the bible says "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

How does everyone feel about them letting Gay people get married?
I think that is their choice and those who don't approve should mind their own business.

I do not  support nor believe in Gay "marriages. "  I believe this country is going in the wrong direction to have started allowing these marriages to take place.  I can not stand hearing about Gay couples being allowed to adopt children.  What ever happened to the belief that every child should be raised with both 1 father and 1 mother?   Also, I think it is wrong for companies to HAVE to provide insurance to these "marriages"   What is wrong with this country?  So many people these days are all about peace, happiness, let things be, no more do we hear of what is right and wrong, moral values.  People need to start reading their Bibles again, marriages have always been between men and women!!

I have to say, read your bible yourself.. wasnt man made in gods own image? if so, then god made the people gay and straight, so who are you to sit and judge.. isnt god also the only one to sit in judgment of man..

Wait a sec ... that biblical reference seems to directly imply that "god" is gay, (and straight, and bisexual and hermaphrodite?).

All right, let's take your Mississippi made up statistics as fact....   If gays are somehow spreading disease, And being gay is wrong, whatever. ...
WHO do gays have sex with and spread these diseases to?? OTHER GAY PEOPLE.

Also, if they get married won't they then become LESS likely to spread disease since they will be monogamous. So now that your fear mongering reason has been turned on you.... What reason will you use now?

Well put. This Cubboo is quite the fellow. My Troll-o-meter is busted, so I can't properly tell if he's actually an uneducated fearmongerer or if he's just trying to get a rise out of people for his own enjoyment.

Disenfranchise?  Can a gay not marry a person of the opposite sex now?  That is what marriage is and they are allowed to do that.  What they want is a special privilege, and as I said earlier in the sake of liberty I would not stand against it -- even if I wouldn't advocate for it.  I am opposed to redefining marriage to mean something else though.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

That would be the eu de troll fragrance you scent from "cubboo".  Based upon his starting a thread specifically to troll, (then 'killfiling'/"ignoring" the target - me - while still posting about me), and then reporting the one he's trolling to the moderators, (classic trollish basic moves).
Although you may have something there as far as a restricted reasoning ability goes, there is a limited amount of evidence to support that conclusion.

I am hoping that this will get some more attention because of the Presidents' statement.  I have a gay son and live in Massachusetts.  I am pleased with the Presidents statement but am fearful that this will be a problem for him.  I am in support of gay marriage. :) :) :) :peace:

I support gay marriage and I have been married to my husband for 41 years in June.  I feel like if I don't want to be in a gay marriage then I won't marry a gay person!  What goes on behind closed doors in no one else's business.  With so many children in social services because of abuse by straight parents that is hardly a reason to say others: gays, single parents etc., could not do a much better job.  Why are so many straight people in 3rd & 4th marriages if marriage is so sacred.

Well as far as the Bible goes it plainly says being gay is wrong... But to the statement above u don't go to hell for being gay if u can change and ask for dorgiveness... But as far as gays go they annoy the hell out of me... Like of ur gay me not thinking its not right ain't gonna change you so be gay just don't be gay towards me and the gay guys that are over the top gay... I think they just strive for attention like at my college I went to these gay dude would like wear ferry wings and panty hose and stuff just begging for attention... Ok ur gay we get it DRESS FREAKIN NORMAL! U don't see straight women wearing just their panties around like hey look at me I'm straight... It's so annoying and if u need that much attention and wanna dress like a freak move to Africa... They'll prob make u a leader of one of their tribes... They all dress wild over there...

"dorgiveness" dorkgiveness? There is nothing what-so-ever intelligent about believing the fiction of the bible. People can wear what they want this is not a country under islamic law. And there another classic "gem" of  :bs: religion.  Religion has no place in a decent society. It is the main reason for wars and the *bleep* backwards things that people do "in the name of god". I for one say down with all religion. Enough is enough.

I don't support gay "marriages." Everyone has right to choose who to be with, I can respect that. But marriage should be between a man and a woman. If individual states allow for civil unions then that's their agenda.  But the US government shouldn't interfere (don't they have other pressing issues other than gay marriage?). Pres Obummer is changing his mind on the issue and backing it up just to get votes....WEAK!

I think it's incredibly sad that in this day and age we even have to fight for the right of gay people to marry.

People say marriage is a sacred bond between a man and woman...but how is it sacred when people like Kim Kardashian are married for a whopping 72 days? Or like my grandfather who has married and divorced a total of 4 times?
Seriously? :BangHead:
