So...lot of talk about this group and Komen this week...thoughts on this whole situation??

I support PP wholeheartedly.  In fact I donated to them yesterday.  I have used PP on several occasions through the years.  I used them when I didn't have insurance, for cheap birth control and other services.  I highly recommend them.  They fulfill a need in the community for low income women to turn to for a variety of health services.  I am glad the Komen foundation reversed their decision but they still left a bad taste in my mouth for what they did.  I will continue to support PP because they provide valuable services.

Hey, it's a "debate & discuss" topic here in our "off topic" section.  I'm game.  PP usually follows along the lines of your belief in right to life.  I'm pretty liberal, so I say leave PP to do their thing and if you don't believe in what they're doing, then simply stay away.

 ktheodos ~ I just saw in the news that The PEOPLE took charge & showed those big shot komen group where to put their snobby, judgmental,followers of the conservative bible bangers everybody knows, the ones who accuses others of sin is the ones sinning behind closed doors asses in!

I support PP, I may not like all aspects of what it's about. I don't agree w/abortions but I also understand that some times abortions are needed b/c of life or death situations & also the trama of a child raped & impregnated. I refuse to drop support for PP b/c komen decided to drop them for stupid moronic reasons! I refuse to see things as black & white; Since in real life they' s always a lot of gray.

If you donate money to a cause that supprts what you do not believe in then do not be surprised when they use it for their own purposes.
