yep...you are right.  He's lucky he's so cute, it's ONLY his cuteness that is keeping him alive right now.

Well, if nothing else...he keeps life "interesting".  You should see the "interesting" re-decorating he did in the living room, kitchen and bathroom last night when I was working five hours of overtime.  I didn't know a kitten could make such a mess!

It's the circle of life and all but, my gf was saddened to lose two kittens to predators in the past and endeavors to keep her fuzzy ones safer.

I'm so sorry, I had thought it a little careless of me when you had mentioned the "birds" and as protective as I am with my pets..."birds" hadn't crossed my mind (but coyotes had).  It never occurred to me that you were speaking from experience.  Hopefully your posts above will remind many pet-people about keeping their precious pets safe from predators and help save many pets lives!!

I've gone through and cleaned up a bunch of topics -- mostly moved them to 'off-topic' where they belong.

By Monday it will probably be a mess again.

I do agree that some people are simply too lazy to post in the correct forum, but it's a good idea to remember that for many members, this is the first time they've ever used a forum.  It can be confusing and overwhelming if you're not used to it (lots of links and buttons on each page).  Plenty of the miscategorized topics seem to be from new or first-time posters.

Hey admin, thanks again for trying to help clean this up. Even though you informed us that you guys do like to maintain a hands off as much as possible approach, you have to agree that this particular string has really gotten out of hand? The attacks and name calling is out of order, and the meandering of the topic, it would seem practical at this point to close this particular string and put an end to this specific current mess. It can always be restarted at another time and place. Wouldn't you agree?

But has anyone else noticed that even when people start off on a certain topic, they might mention something a little off the topic and then someone else comments on that, and then everything just gets completely off topic. I just think that there are some things we just can't help.

I just think that there are some things we just can't help.

I think when people become more comfortable with each other, you begin to talk about other things in life, not just the subject matter. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I think it's nice to see people get along and actually have good conversations about anything here. But sometimes it would help to stay on topic, for the sake of new people that want to contribute to this discussion here.

Well all I do is read through the comments that stay on topic and just quote them and respond to them. Like I've mentioned a little earlier, I feel that if you see something off topic just ignore it and read on. No big deal.

I try not to be negative in everything I think say or do. Ill never post out of line again.
cause it makes people irritable and apt to say negative things and ruin there day.

My pet peeve is the people who ask the SAME question over and over again. I mean it has been answered about 500 times already. A quick search of the topic can give you the answer or going through the training videos will answer about 95% of the questions.

I get hacked off at stupid questions and those who give stupid answers.

Yes there are stupid questions and answers.  
Someone once said "The only stupid question is the one not asked"- I say bull pucky.
