   I owe you an apology.  I haven't been on FC much at all for the past several months.  I have been clicking on "show unread posts since last visit"  and I didn't realize that when one does that, it brings up topics from ALL discussion boards---not just the "Off Topic".  I'd just seen the topic titles and thought they were all "Off Topic", I never noticed  the tiny print next to the topic titles saying which discussion board they are from before.  I'm so sorry for causing you grief!  My mistake, so sorry!!

cateyes1:  I wasn't trying to get rid of you...you're a blessing!  (Yes...even though you're already bringing up next years taxes, I STILL consider you to be a special BLESSING!! :D)

I stumbled onto this thread under the suggestions header so unless it got moved, it seems to be that if suggestions was the intended location it did get started in the right place. Some of us have different ways of defining what would be appropriate in the various headings, but then I also just left a post on payments that was discussing approval or disapproval of gay marriage, now that one probably should have gone in the off topic area, I suspect that it could have been started in the wrong place in order to get credit for the number of posts, but it really does start to clog things up and makes it worse for new people to legitimately locate the useful information they are seeking when they first start. Again it would be nice if there were a way to clean up some of the misdirected posts, to archive things that are either out of date or no longer relevant, I am sure it is tying up a lot of space, and then perhaps periodic reminders that it is more helpful to try and keep posts and new threads in the right location for a greater benefit to all. For members who have been here and been paid out more than 3 or 6 times for their postings, it might be beneficial to institute a bit of a take away system, 3 warnings that you have posted to the wrong thread, mostly for non topic things in major topic areas and then void all the posts prior and make them start again, if the party reaches 6 then obviously they do not respect the forum process and should no longer be permitted to participate at all, clearing the way for those who do respect the process. Does that seem fair? Maybe ,maybe not, but it is food for thought. Admins and monitors have enough to do without having to baby sit adults who should be self controlled.

YOU MADE MY DAY @TOMAS7. Totally made my day. You were spot on. :-D

EVERYONE = I started this post, and I started it in the SUGGESTION section. Please don't debate on that. I'm PRETTY sure I started in this section, and I really don't think I moved it or able to move it from another section to this section. So there... mystery solved!! :-)

Whatever list of people before me that spoke about caring about this topic or not... I agree with the statement about you don't caring doesn't mean others won't care. Forums exist for a reason. other things like blogs or facebook or even classrooms exist for a reason!! These are places where people come together and discuss (even debate) over topics. Debates will occur whether you like it or not. People will care and people will not care about certain things, whether you like it or not.

And for whoever said about life will go on... YES!!! Life will go on if this forum continues to be messy or disorganized... but that doesn't mean life will get better with that.

@SherylsShado = it's fine. Apology accepted. Now we can move on and continue discussing about this... if there's more to discuss that is. hahaha

Hey here's a thought, why not just tell the person that they started a topic in the wrong discussion board.  Stop making such a big deal over it.  I don't understand why some people are arguing over it, really?  It can just be a new member that is learning there way around the discussion board, so try treating others as you would like to be treated.  It's really not that big a deal. :dontknow:

Just your opinion....which you are entitled to. As are the rest of us who find it annoying when people don't care where they post.
And honestly, it's NOT just a new or new members.....check it out if you think so.

@duroz I don't find the need to sit there and check out who's posting where.  I think I made my point already that if it bother's you that much simply correct them.  Otherwise leave it alone!

YOU are the one who said that it was (possibly) NEW people doing this, so that is the ONLY reason I said anything about this.

And I think I made MY point that ALL OF US ARE ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS.....on ANY SUBJECT

This has ALWAYS BEEN in the suggestions board, since the day leung1245 started it.

FYI- Once topics are started in one board, you can't move them to a different board.

we cant duroz, but the moderaters can....

Not sure what that (moderaters can) has to do with why this was mentioned in the first place...?

and I too stink at spelling BUT................

I didn't say anything here re: anyone's spelling EXCEPT for in response to this post from falcon9:
Quote
...."What if libraries, dictionaries or internet search engines were disorganised in similar ways?"

and what I said then was
Quote
Then everyone could start disregarding proper spelling too, and since that seems to be the popular trend anymore....

and that was in NO WAY directed at you or anyone else posting here....it was just an off-hand remark.
So I AM sorry if you thought I was speaking to any posts that were made here.

"JediJohnnie" expresses his preference for farting in crowded elevators.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

It was actually more of a subtle euphemism regarding the context of this thread rather than solely a fart joke however, it may work on both levels.
