I'm not particular to any certain breed.
I would say I'm actually more of a cat person - but I fell head over heels for my current dog, an American Cocker Spaniel, as soon as I laid eyes on his picture. Not sure that I particularly want more of the breed (I've only ever seen them from afar, not even petted another one), but I biasedly love his personality and *very* soft fur.
Before him, we've mainly owned mixes, of small and medium size, but I do remember some Rotts and a greyhound when I was a kid.
Oh for a short time we had Pekingese, and I would consider getting more of them. I do quite like them, not sure why though. Just the overall package and the history, I guess.
My twin loves Chinese Crested dogs, and has owned three plus mixes in the past.
Dachshunds are great, but they always seem to latch on to other members of the family more, even when I obtained them for myself! So wieners (dogs) don't seem to care for me much
(Just have to stick with my *bleep*-er spaniel I suppose.)
My brother has mentioned an interest in Corgis, but I don't think he's ever actually seen one in real life - he just likes the look of them.
My mother has always been interested in the very smallest and the very largest of dogs (the big ones for the appearance of "needing to watch out for", and the little ones because they actually would attack someone lol) - she'd love a Great Dane or a "King's Dog", which is some mix of a Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Saint Bernard or something lol. Something massive, anyways. She also likes the looks of Scottish Terriers and Yorkies. And the look of terrier mixes in general, sometimes with Chihuahua thrown in for the eyes and rounded head.
My older sister has a Newfoundland, and he's nice, although a tad drooly (not as much as they can be, though). The drooly bits of most large breed dogs is what sorta turns me off lol As well as the fact I don't like being jumped on.
My brother just picked up a Basset Hound! To go with their Bloodhound, I guess :p He's very cute.
