Tex,

I am right there along side of you.  I have a degree but have found it very hard to get a job so I have been working very small home business and now I am also doing this site and some online survey sites, Hoping and praying to start making some money as my DH lost his job about three months ago and having no luck finding a another job. To answer your question yes we both are unemployed, We both have degree's DH has a BA in Accounting and I have an AA in Business. Yes it is due to the economy.

I have a degree in education but am currently not employed...by choice.  I have been burned out by an educational system that is not working to educate our children or make them better people in society.

Hello! I have a 4 year degree in Children's Ministry.
I currently am an Independent Consultant for Discovery Toys.  I set my own hours, I get out of it what I put into it.  This business is extremely secure, but like anything else in life, does require some effort and work to make things happen with it.
Aside from Discovery Toys---I guess I'm not allowed to post my website :( ----but I also am a mom- in utero- due to deliver in Nov.
I've always got my eyes open for any ways to make money- hence joining in on this site, applied to do mystery shopping, and looking for any other work-from-home legitimate ideas.
So, yeah, I like this, I've been on since yesterday and I'm already up to 10.05 and well on my way to 30 posts.....I think it's fun, not to mention all the other survey sites along the way that allow opportunities to earn money or prizes!

I work at a retail store, it's a job, I get paid. We also home school our three children so that takes up my daytime.

Some people say their jobs don't require rocket scientists.....but I'm in aerospace engineering, so I AM one.

I became unemployed over a year ago.  I have a degree and I have finally picked up a couple of bookkeeping jobs that I am getting to do from home.  That's great because now I don't have to worry about someone else taking care of my son.

I have my A.A. in pre-law, however, that didn't work out. As of right now I work part time in a hospital as the operator. And in some way I do feel secure not b/c it is a hospital, but b/c we recently had a meeting and they told everyone that any layoffs we have will only effect FTE's (full time employee's) so I am so happy I switched from full time to part time now!!
